Based in the old city of Jerusalem, Gallery ANADIEL specializes in international contemporary art with a particular focus on the Middle East. Since its opening in 1992, Anadiel organized a series of exhibitions for Middle Eastern and international artists including the first solo exhibition in the region for Mona Hatoum in 1996. It also hosted exhibitions for prominent artists such as Gulsun Karamustafa, Zoe Leonard and Jean-Marc Bustamante. Through participating in major art events around the world and a program of collaboration with international galleries and art institutions, Anadiel aims to carry its program from the heart of Jerusalem to a worldwide audience.

ANADIEL's story

In 1992, the first intifada was entering its sixth year.
